Sweet Kill man! Lightnings are overrated, however if they are pullied, they are pretty mean from a roll. Too heavy to really get going from a dig though.

It was a newer one looked like an 04 to me. I was going to say I would have had a chance from a dig, but did not want to sound like a sore looser. He won, end of story. I cant run from a dig anyway Ill just embarrass myself spinning through first and second.. Thats why I thought I might have a chance from a 60 roll. I am not embarrased about it, all in all I hung with him and he looked like he was Very suprised.

If I would have said something, it would sound something like this:

Gayry, it could be possible to pull a Lightning...only if it spun like crazy at launch and you got a good jump on him. With the power you are making, if you DO in fact get a jump, you could stay ahead with the Lightning slowly gaining. The 1999-2000 models came with the 360 hp S/C 5.4L and the 2001-2004 came with the 380 hp version. You could do better against the less powerful ones, but it all really depends on your launch and his launch. Better yet, get some vids of your races with some Lightnings so we can see how you would do...

theres 2 up here ive raced, one of em is modded and hooks pretty good beats me by few the other one is stock he spin pretty good and im gone.

380 flywheel hp...and they weigh more then a single cab chevy...them things are pigs...i think G would have no problem with one from a dig..tire to tire

yep because stock one dont push much more than i do to the ground, some time these guys confuse me with thier responses.

I have seen a few lightings around, never could get one to race me. I doubt i would win.
