hey, thanks for the sites, i really like that blazer, i don't see too many that look that clean, the new front end looks badass, cleaned it up a lot.

i've always wanted to put an ls1 in the newer style blazers

    thanks,

well, he had some issues after the LT1 install (breaking the rearend), after getting that fixed he still didnt get the times that he thought he should at the track. He has now decided that he was likely "flat rated" by the guy that built his LT1 engine. Now he is waiting to install a totally different fresh LT1 383 4 bolt main engine It should be done within the next month. Mean while he is still kicking butt, just the way it sits. He told me a pretty funny story the other day--->said that he was driving to work and this guy in a "HEMI" came rolling up beside him. Slammed98 said that he really wasnt even in the mood, but the guy in the dodge p/u just kept staying right beside him like he wanted to race(guess he watched too many of those goofy commercials, hahaha). ANywayz, Slammed98 throwed into 3rd and put about 10cars on the "HEMI". I bet the guy in the "HEMI" was wondering what the crap was wrong with his truck :lmao:

:lmao: Where is your friend with the lt1 located? When i actually get another truck, i'm going to build a mostly stock ls1 from the block up (gotta save cash by doig it piece by piece) and i'll race him.. pretty much stock ls1/t56-s10 against his lt1/t56-s10, if he is around the dallas area.

Slammed98 & LT4Blazer both live here in Dallas. I'm sure they would be more than willing to race. Slammed98 is looking for low-mid 12s on motor.

im' just going to have it bagged when i move.. but the swap will just be a ls6 block, ls1 stock internals, ls6 valve train, ls6 IM, 6.0 exhuast manifolds, stock 4l60e (decided to go auto), stall, auburn dif and 3.73's.. so nothing major.. i'm looking for low 13's with this setup and some tuning from allen. We'll see what it runs.

Not bad on the blazer, that's great mid 12's, what kind of milage is he getting and what hp rating? not that mileage maters, just curious.

domeskilla, i'm sure that thing will be in the 12's too, if my truck can run mid 13's , i'd think an s10 would run low 13's to high 12's.

    later,

    allen
