    How much will stall help?

I have a stock 03 silverado reg cab short bed 2wd 5.3 I had it tuned and have CAI and a flowmaster with turndown.

I am wondering what will give me the best results next?
Headers with full exhaust or a STall?

How much can I exspect to drop with just a stall?

I tried searching but didnt find anything.
    thanks

I would do headers and exhaust next. Pacesetter longtubes or equivalent for the headers (contact TRT - they're a sponsor and have the best prices).

I guess I missed the "best results next" part. The headers may not give as much of a gain as a converter. then again, mine are tri-y's which give better torque than long tubes so I may have felt the SOTP difference more than the guys using longtubes. I noticed a huge improvement low end with them and a huge decrease when I took them off. The "best results next" would probably be a converter but my headers were still one of my favorite mods I did.

I'd choose a stall. Try to get something between a 2600-3000. Go with either a Yank or PI Vigilante.
And when you say that you should expect a "drop," what kind of drop are you meaning?? In times or cash??? I'd say .3 to .4 in the 1/4 and about $400-$600 for the stall--w/o install fees.

if you get a stall be prepared too buy stuff to get traction ,more money !its the game but true ,if you cant get traction it wont do you any good .if you go l/ts and exhaust you will definately feel it ,it was 1 of my favorite mods [the lts] i felt it immediately[seat of the pants feel].and u probly wont have spend any more right away .as u can afford it .i say weigh it out and see .converter is awesome diff too,but like i said you will have traction issues unless you already have dealt with it.good luck
