07 crew cab 1/2 ton 2wd
some of the kits have springs/spindles/shackles/leafs/lower arms/etc..
which is gonna keep the best ride quality.
so far I'm leaning toward the Mcgauhy's kit with spindles and drop leafs. It seems the easiest to install. Please correct me if I'm wrong.
Also, I'd like to pay a pro to install in the Dallas area. Any suggestions???

Go with the McGaughy's kit. It's one of the best out there. Do the front spindles and drop leafs in back. Look at the link I posted on your thread in the Racer's Lounge section... The article shows a step-by-step install procedure.

What kind of drop are you looking at going? I presume a 2/4 like the rest of us?
Best 2/4 would be Spindles and Leafs with lowering shocks...(You have to run a 17" or bigger wheel with the spindles or the thread bolt will come in contact with the wheel Since you have a brand new truck i dont think thats going to be a issue for you) I'm running shackles and hangers in the rear of my truck and spindles up front it drives smoother then stock but if you can afford the leafs...then go that route.. And if you have the tools and the time i would just do the drop in your driveway its really easy and will save you some money...
The Three best companys to go with on lowering kits are Belltech, DJM, and McGaughy's. Every other company i would stay away from...Especially AIM or Chassis Tech

The 4" rear drop is the most expensive because of having to cut off the front spring hanger. A 6" flip kit is less expensive to install.

Brandon....buy the parts you want and get Danny(sprayed 99) and Alan (vanwilder) to do the install. give them a couple BENJAMINS and buy them some beer and call it a day. if you want, take it back after 1,000 miles and have them retorque it for you.
Ground force is way overpriced...
