my buddy has an LT1 in his truck, ill post pics but im not at home right now. I have a LT1 motor that i was gonna go all forged w/either spray or blower. Now that i bought my LS1 + T56, the LT1 is now :flipoff: for sale.

Ouch! that hurts. I have both (ls1 + lt1). and I love both. if i had to choose between the ls1 and the lt1 with a hotcam, it would be a draw. my lt1 feels stronger, but its a 6speed, but in a heavier vehicle.

both enignes are great, but i'd definitely choose my ls1 over an lt1, but the lt1's can be just as or more powerful. if you wanted to do a swap an lt1 would be cheaper and there are more proven parts out. However, the ls1 is already a performer the way it is.

hard choice for some, but all trucks and swaps are welcome, although it is kind of slow in this forum, hahah

    see ya,
