Yeah, not bad... Good idea on the daily driver.. I've got an old '92 Dodge Diesel for my weekly warrior and a '02 Z71 work truck... Definitely try to keep the mileage down on the Gangsta Race Truck... LOL!! BTW, just got off the phone with Billy, truck should be ready tomorrow.. Diff. clutch packs, new flywheel, Hot wire kit for fuel pump's, new push rods, more crankcase ventilation, new plug wires, ported throttle body and maybe a couple more pounds of boost!!!! WooooHoooooooooooo..... I'm goin' for 10's...................

damn i think you might hit it off of that, let me know when you are going out to Ennis and i will try to make it out there to see, i am going to get me a new fuel pump and hot wire it also, i here you get voltage drop sometimes, and then i am just going to stay with a 250, but i think from that i will hit some low 11's

Every time you spray that beast, be sure you have the knock sensors mapping. Did you check the plugs and all when you got it home? How much spray did you hit it with when the convertor blew?

of course everything thing was fine the plugs all looked good and i was on a 150 wet shot with 1,000psi pressure, i have hit that shot 1,000 times, i knew the converter was bad already and was just waiting for a couple of weeks till i could buy the one i wanted without having to find the money

That sucks about the engine. I've been down that road too many times so far in the last six months. Thank God that I'm working with very respectable people!

Yeah, about the voltage drop thing, I've got a fuel press. guage in my A-pillar and any time I hit the lights or turn on my A/C my fuel pressure will drop off a couple of PSI... I would have never thought that could be possible but thanks to the guage I was able to see it right there.... Oh, they also sent my converter off to get swapped with a little looser 3200 instead of the 2800.. Have you tried a Vigilante converter yet Virg..??? I'm a true believer now... Anything that can launch a 6K lb. truck off the line at 6 pounds of boost is a bad MF....IMO
