    I didn't think you could chrome plate aluminum.

    you can pretty much chrome plate anything that will not melt when dipped. most chrome factory wheels are aluminum.

    My Boyds are polished aluminum and they're starting to pit after years of use and have always been a pain in the ass to polish. The good thing is aluminum is easy to weld on like I did mine and easy to machine out if they get dinged or bent. I can get wheels chromed for $125.00 a wheel if you're in the Houston area. I can also get them anodized which is a hatrd clear finish like the factory wheels. I would even be glad to put you in contact with my wheel man.

    well since my centerlines were off the truck, i decided to take my time and polish them today.
    used...
    mother&#39;s power ball
    way2ez from thunderracing
    meguiar&#39;s clearner wax (don&#39;t know if it will help, just want to see if it will repel water)
