I don't think I can recommend any good body shop. Everywhere I go I always get screwed or end up taking it back. One time, I had my 98Z repaired. Well, on the lower rocker panel , just below the door, they clear coated right over the dirt. NICE.

I've resorted to doing all my body work myself. Saves money and if it doesn't get done right the first time I have nobody to blame. Plus, it's only bondo, fiberglass, or paint all can be sanded back down and redone, That's how I look at it. Of course, it's nice to have a second vehicle during those stages.

what are you looking to get done?

    good luck,

I need to have the car striped and repainted. The clear coat is starting to peel like all the cars from that era. Also I have s spot of surface rust (fortunately, from the outsde in) about the size of a nickel that needs repaired. I wish I had a the place and tools to do myself.

it would be cheaper to get the tools and do it yourself in most cases just look around for paint supplies they are pretty cheap

If you are looking for a top quality shop in VA. Try the www.streetsource.com board for a recommendation. The show circuit people will know of great places. I know there are acouple in Richmond/Glen Allen area that ppl were talking about on there, but I dont remember the names.
