    Brianmcb,,, did you run into any issue with the slave cylinder mounting up?? I will be doing my swap in the next week or so,, just trying to get everything organized so I won't have alot of downtime with the truck not running

    No issues with my slave. Clears the sensor that sticks out of the oil pan to. I'm even using the stock throwout bearing.

    Brian,, did you fully seat the NAPA bearing into your crank? I had the mcleod bushing and wasn't really satisfied with it when I put in in my crank... I feel more comfortable with and acutal bearing.....

    When almost fully seated was part of the bearing still sticking out past the end of the crank?

    brian , did you use your dust shield on the swap?

    I think I used the plastic dust shields that were on the 5.3
