Well. Yeah that's what I heard and though too. I got my ECM tuned from Nelson. but it doesn't. runs like crap when the AC is on. So.. Im wondering if I pigtail a wire off the clutch positive to the AC request pin on the red ECM connector that might solve the issue? No idea. but I ordered 25 pins today to give it a shot. Cant hurt?

If you were using a 99-02 PCM you could give the PCM control of the AC clutch circuit through a relay and use your HVAC controller to provide a request from the PCM.
The 2005 PCM requires a serial request for HVAC functions though. Been asking HPtuners to provide a setting for the 03+ controllers for awhile. As far as I know nothing has been done so far. I haven't been keeping up with it for the past few months though.

I second that. Were miles apart. Its HELLA hot. And the LS even though runs like a champ with no AC runs like a POS with it on. So it really needs to be addressed. I am running a drive by cable setup. Nelson provided the ECM. Does this mean its the kind I can work with?

Maybe you could some how splice into the e fan wire that tells the fans when the AC is turned on and run the wire from it to the PCM for it to bump idle up?

Maybe splice into the clutch circuit and take that to pcm?
