Yea Im going to give neal chance converters a call when it comes time. What flexplate is everyone using? Im wanting to go SFI certified and I know TCI sells one for $230, would that one workl correctly for my application? And Whats everyone's opinions on transbrakes and RMVB? Also what shifter?

I'm running the tci pn# 399753 plate, and rmvb is what I have with pro rachet shifter. Works well. I blew 5 full built 80es, I'm still on my first th400... Nothing special. Just a local bench build. Even if I didn't have the GV on it, I'd run one for the peace of mind.

The best advice I have ever heard:... Only take B( . Y . )ST advice from someone that is CURRENTLY running a turbo setup close to, or bigger than what you want......
do you leave off the transbrake or foot brake?

Man Mic your truck is violent! I looked up a few videos and I made up my mind on the transbrake for sure. What do you mean by GV? Also, do you find your tranny temps to be really high after transbraking and running it? How are the temps on the street?

GV is a bolt on over drive. Nice but expensive. I found mine for a steal. It heats up a little after a Trans brake run. But never got over 180. I have 2 BM 30k super coolers with fans bc they are under my bed, and run about 150 on the street cruising at 80-180mph

oh gear vendors.. idk why i didnt think of that. Thanks for all the info. And 180mph is nuts!! What gears and size tires are you running? And what mph does your 3rd gear top out at and what rpm is that?
