Looks like its not going to happen. I called nelson performance and they said they could do the tune but they arent sure about the wiring harness. They havent done one before. Also they didnt think they could help with the allison transmission. No one has gotten back to me from Tbyrne about using a throttle cable on this hog either and there is only 20 mins left. It is up to $720. I guess all the 8.1s come with drive by wire. Which is no good to me. The package doesnt even come with the drive by wire electronics.

$1925 was closer to what I figured it would go for. It went up four times the price in less than an hour(that's ebay though). It is still a good deal if you were close enough to pick it up. I would like to have one of these in my Chevelle.

i was simply saying (as u found out) its more difficult to do stuff with the 8.1. definetly not bashing ur idea, i think it could be sweet actually. in my opinion it presents a lot more problems than solutions, but aparently what i say has no meaning to some people. sorry for trying to help u.

Obviously I did not get it. The harness was a problem and the electronics with the allison. Also that throttle body and the fly by wire. I did learn that it will bolt up to any chevy smallblock motor mounts however and it will accept any big block headers as the flange patter is the same as the old big blocks. I am sure someone with more experience could have done this swap without too much problems but I am a novice.
