Depends on the shop and location. I've seen it as cheap at 2.75$ a pound, up to 6$ a pound. Home I was 4$ a pound, at school I pay 3$ a pound.

    - magnaflow catback

MagnaFlow Performance mufflers are 100% stainless steel and lap-joint welded for solid construction and rugged reliability even in the most extreme conditions. They feature a free-flowing, straight-through perforated stainless steel core, stainless mesh wrap and acoustical fiber fill to deliver that smooth, deep tone. Mufflers are packed tight with this acoustical material to ensure long life and no sound degradation over time.

I have been shopping around on the magnaflow website and can not seem to find any sound clips. Anyone know a website with a video.
