    Little update:

I decided to go ladder bars and backhalf since it would be much easier to cut the rails and make new 2x4 rails rather than straighten the old ones and box them in. I just cut the rails and removed on leaf hanger. I have a 12 bolt from a 70-72 chevelle that my buddy gave me so i cut off all the brackets and have it ready to start fabbing up the suspension. Im going with 35 spline axles, spool, c-clip eliminators, and 3.55 gears. The 12 bolt is 6.5" narrower than the 10 bolt so no need to narrow anymore than that. Next thing to do is build the fram rails. Im going to narrow the frame about 3-4" on each side. That should give me enough clearance to run a 18" wide tire if need be haha. Here are a few pics

Cool deal. Keep us updated on ur ladder bar build. Also it looks like the frame bent right at the c-notch which might have actually saved the rest of the frame lol.

Yea it would but I'm going to keep the engine and trans how it is for now and see how fast it'll go. Trans brake will be either when the th400 needs a rebuild or when I build a motor and bigger turbo

Well I just got back from working out of town and I had a bunch of parts waiting for me. I got the ladder bars and brackets, shock mounts, shock crossmember, some stuff for the 12 bolt, coilovers, SS bumper cover that I will be doing a little trick with, and roll pan
