    I was tellin' Budfan about runnin' a 200-4R instead. FAR better than a 700R4/60E style and doesn't suck the huge power the 80E does.

    Same length as the 60E, same 27T output, clutch pack for OD, 1.8" band, etc. Pretty badass. Not to mention a closer ratio setup than the 60E and a better OD ratio around 0.67:1

    Allen, if you go with the 400, I have one you can have. It needs to be gone through, but was pulling fine when we took the big block from in front of it.

    I shift at 5600 and the rev limiter is at 6500, so i did raise it, but it still hits. The shifts just aren't holding anymore.

    Allen, I have a friend here in pensacola who did the 80e swap and absolutley hates it he is pulling it out and going back to another 60e. He is willing to sell it and the 3800 stall for cheap. PM me if you are interested. Thanks, Brandon

    man i love my 80e. sure it does suck some power but man it is bad ass. i guess i shouldnt complain at all since i am putting 301 to the ground and running 13.8's in the 1/4 thru my 80e.
