This is my dog, lacie, picture is probably the ONLY time she's had a leash/collar on her

She goes 'to play' with all the neighbors dogs (they will seriously call up and see if she can go over to play), if I'm outside, she's with me. She sits in the truck, or will lay under it in the garage. Some guy walked up driveway other day when I was messing with the blazer and was like SIR, PLEASE RESTRAIN YOUR DOG! she was laying at my feet, and I'm like 'ya you're fine' he walked up to me to hand me a flyer and she started licking his feet, never even got up. She plays catch with a chunk of rope and likes to chase rabbits, and if I yell SIT! while she's running, she will literally drop mid stride and slide to a stop. Best dog I've ever had. Got her for $25 bucks from pound a week before I finished college, she was scheduled to be put to sleep THAT DAY because she had been there so long.

My old dog, Aries, was a completely different story. That dog used to have a engine lift chain as a leash, and I would put it on the clevis hook of my hitch, swear she moved my truck like 8 inches one day trying to get to a dog some lady was walking down the sidewalk.

It was pretty scarey, to say the least. I know we were in the right on this one, but I feel bad for their dog. And any trip to the ER Vet is always scarey, so I feel bad for our neighbors. I like to think Dagger was protecting his mommy, tho, too. I guess we won't be going on walks unless I have Oreos in my pocket!

Ive got a Staffordshire female and she is pure dominant. Needless to say those people were in the wrong and all your boy was doing was protecting you and your family moze.

Same thing happened to me. Some how and Australian shepherd got in my back yard and was getting after my 8 pound toy rat terrier. I heard the yelping and ran out side, my Staffy Kiylee(Her Name) came from no where and took that other dog down, and well you know what happened from there. Needless to say she was just protecting her little sister in her own territory. Shes the best dog I have ever had, and the sweetest, as long as nothing threatens us or her everyone will be fine. Its a good sense of security to have a dog like that, they are part of the family and I don't have to worry when I am out of town and steph is home alone.

Poor dog. I hope the nieghbor's don't hate you now and poison your dog. My brother had that happen to his Rott and it never was even out of his fence. Then 3 weeks later his 9 month old Staffordshire got out and the police shot it. A kid in the nieghborhood let him out and was playing with him then left him out and an old lady called the police. She said there was a crazy pitbull on the loose chasing kids. Bad deal. Hope nothing happens in retaliation.

Moze you dog looks awesome. How are Staffy's with other dogs if they are raised with them? Say a Chihuahua and boxer? We are huge dog lovers me and my wife. I feel for the other folks but yeah they should have been taking proper care for their dog. Yeah we have a dachshund pug mix that would chew someones leg off if they get Close to Steph. And he was born blind so he doesn't know he's no the biggest and makes him more protective.
