'96 Chevy 5.3L swap

No, stock trans. It's a 60e, so we'll figure it out and get the pcm to control the trans. should work just like the newer 60e's.

Is this possible with the stock 5.3/ls pcm's? I always thought you had to do one of the newer trannys...the 2 piece 60e's.
If so i can get a 96 60e that was behind an lt1 for free.

Fuel pump in a 96 would be a min. of 55 to 60 psi at least on v8 p/u but I think 4.3 was the same because of the poppet design injector system requires at least 55 to open the poppets. Doesn't the 5.3 run 60 psi

1996 factory fuel pump, that came in my 4.3 V-6 truck, works perfect, as is, with my 2001 Camaro SS LS1 engine.

Just finished putting in a 5.3L from an '03 Suburban in my '73 Landcruiser. Got the wiring harness from Nelson Performance and probably spent about 30 minutes connecting the harness to the motor. Cycled the key twice and it fired up on the first try!
I will get some pics and post them soon.
I debated on trying to build my own harness or who to go with - totally glad I decided to give Nelson a call.
