Rockland Standard Gear makes a kit to put a T-56 into a 4WD. It includes a modified T-56 with an adapter. The transfer case bolts to the adapter. I was told it cost $4300. It's new and not on their website yet.

honestly i wouldnt use a T56 in stock spec'd at all for what you want. they are only rated at 400lbft TQ. yes you can have a modded one like mine which is good for 700hp but was also 34xx dollars thats no clutch, no shifter

also using the T56 you need a Ls1 starter,LS6 slave, LS1 style clutch.. and a stock clutch wont hold and the LS clutches are rated at roughly 3500lbs of vehicle weight.

im fighting clutch issues cause of my weight, just hink what your heavier truck is going to do

    2002 Silverado - 427Lsx w/ Twin gt4202s
    2010 Silverado crewcab Z71 - 5.3litre w/ procharger
    2000 Wrangler - 5.3litre with some stance

it ain't that I'm too big to listen to the rumors, It's just that I'm too damn big to pay attention to 'em..That's the difference
