hell yeah... your lucky the cop didnt haul your ass off. as for the licence thing... if you used up all your points and you dont serve any time, you will have to apply for a sr-22... because your licence will be suspended, or revoked. But then agian, you might just get off with probation, and/or work restricted driving only... I hope it all works out for you... Maybe the push you need to slow it down, or at least to learn how not to get caught.
Agh im scared... I really dont want my license revoked... and i dont want it suspended but im willing to take courses or anything to keep it from being suspended. Ouch... this is going to hurt big time. After this im investing in a valentine radar detector...
Just slow it down. I drove on a suspended for 6 years. I just drove cool.
If your going to spend coin on anti radar stuff, might as well get an active Jammer like the scorpion. they can be pricey, but a detector only lets you know that you have been radared, or are about to be... A jammer will block their lazer... I have a Phazzer 2 and it does not work on hand held lazers, but dose work on the car mounted ones until about 100ft, then it will punch through. Problem is most cops use the hand helds. I have it sitting in a box for this reason and because I dont get tickets any more.
I agree with you and it something we should all be concious of. I know I have acted stupid a time or two. well it was one time deal things but i got caught. ive never really pushed that fast around people who were driving. But lifes tough... anyone have an idea of what i need to expect to pay?
well, i know this wont make you feel any better but a while back when i was young dumb and well you know. i got caught going 90 in a 35 and passing on a double yellow line. well the cop just wrote me the tickets and sent me on my way and i didnt think anything more about it until the court date. i went to court dressed all nice and all when the judge got to my case he looked over the ticket, asked the cop for details, then asked me if that was true i said yes, then he said "son, your a danger to yourself, and your a danger to this community, you don't deserve to drive and now you wont." he suspended my license for a year, and smacked me with 1300 dollars in fine. and i had to spend 9 days in jail. so sometimes the judge can be nice and sometimes he can be an ass. i guess i just caught him on a day when his wife wasn't giving it up. but that experience changed how i drove down to this day.

i am surprised you did not spend the night in jail. If cough going over 100 you easily can get put in jail, and even if they feel like it slap you with assault with a deadly weapon. When i was at the Court house in September,i saw this guy who spent 3 nights in jail. it was his first time ever to get a ticket, and get arrested. He was a rich guy mid 20's and had a nice job. His ticket was 112 in a 65. His car was impounded, he spent 4 nights in jail, each night was $100 off his bill. He was talking to me about it, he said he will never speed again. he didn't even realize it either, he just was cruising down the empty road. He told me he was selling his car too, it was a convertible porche. the judge told him next time he will get assault with a deadly weapon which can get him life in prison. i don't speed anymore either its not like it use to be at all. my dad told me it use to be, the cops knew who you were and would tell your parents rather then give u a ticket lol.
