    Raced Vff Jeff today

Jeff and I met up at his secret local for a heads up race. I had a hell of a time getting traction and got spanked in the first race, second race i did a lil better and got him by about a car, and then third race he got me by about a car. I need a tune so my tranny will act right. Jeff is a super nice guy and im sure once he gets the N20 hooked up his truck will be fast as sh!t. I think my G-80 is shot cuz when we ran from a dig i spun so abd in low gear my tranny would **** into second and then hook up and now im going 30 in second gear that suks. A tune and a new Auburn Posi are in definate order... Jeff once you get the spray on i want a ride......... I hope next week some more of the austin area people can all meet up and hang out.......... If anyone has any idea speak up. The old Ultimate electronics store by lake line mall is vacant and would be a good meeting spot since no one will bother us there and the parking lot is lit up.

thanx for the props Brian. the race was close, and i think that if we ran 10 races we would probably split 5 by 5. Slimsilverado's truck has good top end and just needs a tune to run hella good. I tried to race Jethro after the meet an I didnt have a whole lot for him. the best I did was from a 30 roll. but even then he walked away. Jethro, Chevylee and slimsilverado are all cool dudes. I look forward to more meets, and track days in the future.
edit-- oh yeah his name is slim silverado for a reason... he weighs like 140lbs and he is like 6'2.

i wish i lived in texas so i could hang out and race with u guys. ct sucks for truck guys like me. most people round here are snobs that just act like there so much better than you. my cousin is a good example: he's got a 700 hp lightning but will not help me one bit with my truck, not even advice. the hell with people like that.

Just kidding david. Its called suthun hospitality. People are just nicer down here. Well not so much now since all the cali pricks are movin in. I used to be able to waive at anyone while in passing and theyed wave back. now, you can tell someone ''hi'' or ''how are you'' and they look right through you. you know they heard you and you know that its a person in front of you, but they lack the intelect to reply.

You shoot that funny gas and you will get it moving... I just want some new tires, being below the tread bar does not help in traction.... Jeff my cam is a 224/228 114, 581/588.

Nice being the old man there.. now to get you guys to the track
