    needs to be between 1 and 3 degrees, if you drew a straight line between the tran tail shaft and the rear end pinion, if your rear end was 3 degrees up you trans should be between between 0 and 6 degrees down, it has to have some angle or the u-joints will wear out to quick, found this out the hard way, set a 33 coupe up with the angles the same, u-joints didnt last any time.
    1987 jeep wrangler, 1999 LS 1, 4l60 231j transfercase, dana 30 frontend ford 8.8 rearend 3:73 gear ratio. sandersons shortie headers, 2.25 inch exhaust into 3 inch flowmaster muffler.

    Eon on extreme4x4 talked about you MUST have some conflict difference between the driveshaft and pinion angle, exactly what you said is what he said on the show. They even explained the position of the pumpkin is offset from the centerline of the transfer case for that exact reason. You got someone backing you up there that is famous Tulsa.

    thats a first, but built enough of these old cars, so makes it a lot easier when dealing with the pickups

    Tulsa and Red I remember that xtreme 4x4 show about the offsets. Nitrous, I was talking about the frame notch for stock ls1 a/c placement.
