dont do that, if they are factory then just look at your rpo codes on one of the tags on your truck, prolly in the glove box, old trucks sometimes had them on the inner fender. If these tags are gone then take the cover off and go to counting, there are number on the ring gear, you can divide them to get your ratio! The rpo codes will have one or two sets of numbers in it starting with "g"....such as this gt4 or gt5, these are 373 and 410....common gears in the older truck are 3.08 which is gu4 and 273 which is gu2.
