Thread: Ram SRT10

    I'm about to get on a toll road in Houston when I notice a SRT 10 and a BMW 5 series coming up from behind pretty quick. As we enter the toll road and traffic clears, the Ram floors it and so does the 5. Naturally I put my foot in it and we're off! I thought the Ram was going to walk away from me but I stayed on his bumper the whole time and started to pass him at about 110. The 5 couldn't keep up but as we slowed down, he came up beside me and just gave my truck a wierd look (total sleeper, stock exterior). So I flexed it and let him hear the "exhaust leak". He just smile and gave me a nod. The Ram couldn't shake me and as I was exiting I noticed a Lightning was about to join the fun. I wish I could have played longer!


    Intake temps never got more than 7 degrees above ambient, but my EGT's were about 1300!!

    I cant wait to get into the action with my truck once I get the 6 liter!

    Oh man&#33; That is sweet that you are keeping up with a SRT-10&#33; Those things are brutally fast--once they hook up and get traction. It might have been closer if you both would have punched it at the same time...

    Was it a RCSB 6-speed or the CCSB 4-speed auto?
