Just checking to see if its been or can be done without breaking the bank doing it.
Sometime in 2004 I wanna do a swap just still figuring out what I wanna do right now.
Any suggestions?

I was hoping someone would reply to this.
I'm sure it's possible, but a different harness would be in order, right guys?
The 5.3L or similar pcm should be able to control the efi.
I would be interested to see someone try this. I know this is a torque, pulling monster engine, wonder how it would rev and hold up at the track. Hell, the marine guys are making tons of power from this engine. I would think if you're looking for a daily driver and mileage is a concern, throw this swap away now, lol.
How much power are you thinking about getting from this? I would make an excellent tow vehicle or for a 4x4 application.

I actually asked the same question on another board and people "looked" at me like I was on a crack pipeOriginally posted by farmtruc@Jan 6 2004, 10:00 AM

Pretty much the statement of the day was it is too expensive, to time-consuming, and too much a PITA to do. Now, on the other hand, I am sure that of all the speed-freaks out there this had to have been done somewhere by now...
I dropped the inquiry because I don't think anyone took my question seriously since alot of people just throw a 6L in there. I, however, still would like to know as well. Almost 500 cubes, to me with all the torque, would not necessitate a blower. I guess it would come down to cost of a built 6.0L w/ Radix/Whipple vs. this BB swap.
