We were putting a few miles on a truck at the customers request and I just happened to be leaving the shop in my '92. Wasnt really planning on anything, but eariler, Dustin was giving me hell about it being faster than mine.
Well, it wasnt.
We did several little runs; one from about 20 to 80 and the result was the same; I would pull him w/o much of a problem. I let him stall into boost (6psi) once, and I still pulled him while spinning.
Now for the part that makes it less impressive. It was a very low compression (8.0:1) 370 in a 1500HD crew cab only running 6psi. My truck is about 1600lbs lighter.
If I had that motor in my truck, I'd run 18psi with the low compression.
It was nice to have something to run though.
