I&#39;m putting a 2004 6.0 from a 2500 in a &#39;67 PU and my temp sensor in the head has only 2 pins (and the connector has only 2, black and yellow). Wiring harness from Speartech.

Do I need to get a 3 pin sensor in order to have output for a temp gauge? Or does the gauge input come from somewhere else on this motor?

I plan to use aftermarket gauges when I get to the dash. Do you have a PN for the three pin sensor?

put the aftermarket sensor in the right side head or the radiator, its not as accurate in the radiator but it still works. www.hotrodlane.cc sells a adapter for installing aftermarket gague senders into the 6.0 right side head, some kind of metric o-ring fitting...that works good.
