We have one with a bullydog on it, and the thing is insane! 98mph in the 1/4 with just the programmer...88mph without it. Touchy off the line because it will liquify the tires.
I drive and F250 with a programmer, 4" exhaust, and an AFE magnum force stage II air kit. It will really move (got a couple of mustang gts to my credit). lol
I believe the new (06) duramax 360hp with the same mods will crush my powerstroke.
The 6 speed allison is awesome! They are great trucks if (and only if) you get the 06 model. Prior to 06, the powerstroke is a better set up.
We work these trucks, and we race trucks. So I am not talking about pampered..back and forth to school trucks. I have pulled over 30k pounds behind my poor little F250...for 10 hours straight on the highway at 75mph.
You will love the new duramax..specially if Allen can put something together for you.

[/b]98 mph in the 1/4 with just a program? AWESOME!!! Tell me more about the 07 LBZ, I heard its going to have sometype of exhaust filter on it? I wander if it can be removed? Just wander if the 07 can be hopped up like the 06? SO the 98 mph, = to high 13's ?? MAN these diesels are awesome!!

The new emissions mess for diesels is going to kill the 07 trucks. Dodge has a ne cummins motor that should be a demon, but because of the emissions crap being applied to diesels...it gains almost no hp over the 06...even though it is bigger , with new technology.
This affected the big rigs too. I bought a couple of 06 Sterling dump trucks with 450 horse MB engines. The 07 trucks with the same setup cost about 7k more because of the BS. It looks like the 07 diesels are supposed to require biodiesel. So the current availibility of suitable fuel will be a problem. The 06 stuff will run on red fuel (but it eats egr valves and injectors).
The 98mph that I mentioned was not run on the track, but on a blacktop road that is often used for street racing by the locals. So it is not exact, but should be pretty close. I know there is no way this thing would hook on the track!
