    Do Not Use Chaotic Customs!!!

Chaotic customs in conroe tx just out side of houston has got to be the worst experience ive had with a custom shop to date. Ive used Cutten Customs which are ok, but they arent my first choice. Extensive, which at least do the work even if its not always 100%. Nelson performance which if i lived in san antonio would be the only place i go to, and then we have chaotic customs.

They dont work on weekends which is what they call "family time" which is fine, it just puts me "the customer" in a bind since i only have one vehical and have to bum rides to and from the shop thats about 20 miles out of anybodies directions along with taking time off from work. I dropped it off yesterday morning at 8:33 am and they said they'd call around lunch time to let me know what they could do for me. I got a 4-7 MCG drop and it has a camber problem. Ive had it aligned twice (once by firestone, and once by a guy that actually does dropped trucks) and i knew it was going to need knew upper control arms. So 3pm rolls around and nobody calls so i called them and asked what was up. They told me they called around but nobody was answering their phones or calling back. So i said since they were closing soon ill just pick it up tomorrow. They said it was fine, just come by anytime and pick it up. So i got a ride out there and intended to go run errands since i didnt have a truck the day before. I got dropped off and I waited from 12:20 to 1:50 in the sun outside their compound with the sun and fire ants to keep me company. Several of their workers and some customers pulled up waited and drove off during my stay because they couldnt get into the gate without a key. All i had to do was walk around the side about 20 feet and i walked right in. I found my truck unlocked, and nobody to be found except for a painter that didnt know up from down and couldnt help me. FINNALY one of his workers stayed long enough to give me a number i could call to get into the gate and leave because at this point im pretty irritated with their customer service. I let the guy know ive been waiting for an hour and a half in the sun for them to show and i didnt need to waste anymore time waiting outside the gate. So they show up about 2:05 and tell me that i dont need to call them and be rude. Thats pretty much where i lost it, and gave them a peice of my mind on customer service. He then told me i owed them 50 bucks for looking at my truck and telling me i needed what i already knew i needed. At this point im so frustraited with their lack of common sense i have to leave my wallet with them go down to the corner store and get cash because for some reason they dont take debit. My truck was unlocked all night on a compound that an any joe could walk onto open it up and steal whatever they wanted.

Ive you want to waste your time, money, and patients then by all means give them all three. Im taking my three elsewhere.

Goat08 I wanted to reply to this. First off, drive to San Antonio if that's your first choice.

You came in bad mouthing Cutten Customs and Exstensive Metalworks the minute you came in the door. They are reputable companies and knowledgeable and talented guys. You asked us to diagnose your problem; up front we told you it would be 50 to put in on the lift to check the truck out. Because you said Exstensive was " a bunch of dumbasses " and "didn't know what they were talking about". Upon inspection the problem was exactly what Exstensive had found to be the problem. And by the way, it's posted we go to lunch between 12 and 1. Your call, cussing and outrageous belligerent comments to Chris quickly changed when Chris got out of the truck and you began stuttering and quickly changed your "bad ass" demeanor. I get the image of you going home and hiding behind your computer to write a bunch of lies. The reason we didn't take your credit card is because your attitude and your lack of common sense. YOU came to US for a SECOND opinion, which we initially told you Exstensive knows their business. YOU insisted on us putting it on the lift and looking at it. Your story makes NO sense and contradicts itself. "Any Joe could walk" on to our "compound", but you couldn't get in. Guess you got to be smarter than any JOE.
    Shops Beware!!
I find it frustrating that all the responses to this thread have been removed which was supportive of Exstensive, Cutten, and Chaotic.

    I'll bring the beer.

Racing is a real sport. Because football, baseball, soccer, and golf only require one ball.

I now feel dumb for actually reading it all. That's what I get for being bored and not paying attention to thread dates.
