    ok, I bought an "ad a line" fuse from autozone so it's not all ghetto looking. I'm still dealing with constant power being applied when the ignition is off. Even the fuse box under the hood is constantly supplying voltage to the fuses.

    Alright guys, My eyes betrayed me.

    In the fuse panel under the hood is a 10A fuse for MISC IGN. I added the "add a line" fuse from autozone and crimped in the power wires for my 2 gauges. All is good to go. The gauges power off when the vehicle is turned off and power up with the ignition is turned. Case closed...

    I sure know how to make things difficult on myself.
