    For starters, I would read up on the harness info here:

    This will give you some info that you need to get your harness integrated into your existing truck.

    4.3 wiring harness will not work, you need same year truck v8 wiring harness to work with your new motor and year truck


    oh yeah and you'll need v8 mounts also same year truck

    yea i have all that but as far as the actual hook up just unplug the the V6 harness and plug the V8 one in the same way and thats it ready to run... thats really my?

    got her all in and she runnig and driving but for some reason i have a battery light but my voltage looks good on the gauge any guesses?????

    Common problem on some swaps for whatever reason Have your tuner delete the code.

    thanks ill get that done.... one more question i swaped an 04 denali motor and harness and that motor did'nt have E-fans but my truck had them OE so are they just going to work they were on a different harness... ???????

    Not sure. I believe they are activated by the PCM. Hopefully your new PCM was flashed to have the proper pinouts activated to work the fans. Then it's just a question of tracing the wires and hooking them into the PCM.
