I went the cheap route, but it works. Go to home depot, get you one of those water separators for the air compressor.
They use 1/4 " barb fittings on each side. Get a T connector, route both line into the T, into the separator, then into the cai tube.
    Done!
the catch can is directional, so pay attention to the flow.

My intake was full of oil as well, about a cup worth.

Ya mine is terrible...i mean B-A-D! I would say i got about a quarter to half a quart out of mine. It would blow smoke for atleast 5 minutes on a cold startup. The only problem is I want to keep my engine bay clean looking. Guess I will have to buy the new style valve covers if I want to keep the bay clean :-(. I just started it up and it still smoked after cleaning all the gunk out of the built in pcv valve in the cover, and driving it really hard to make sure there was no more oil in the intake...ugh. There has to be a better solution you and I cant be the only ones with the problem this bad. My motor has less than 100k on it!

IF the issue is the same as my truck; the cause was an over active lifter squirting on the valve cover right in the pcv area. The vacuum would suck oil up into the hose, draining in the intake.
If you want a cleaner look, just take both valve covers to the intake tube and that way, all you've done with add two hoses and you won't smell exhaust fumes.

Would the "over active lifter" be the one that ticks really bad on my truck on startup? lol

that's funny, but probably not; more likely it's not pumping up with oil.
time to pull the engine and forged it, 383.

Well, something WENT and I mean WENT this morning...I was headed to deer hunt at 6 am goin down the highway and it sounded like a dropped a valve almost. Ill call it a full out knock, but I know it wasnt a knock it sounded like that lifter got way out of whack just ticking like crazy...or sumthing was slamming up and down. I started coasting and it stopped....didnt come back either but I turned around and went home. You think that was the lifter makin all that noise? It sounded like there was a penny stuck in one of the cylinders. And latley when i have been starting it, its been very "ticky" until it warms up

Ya I bet its the lifter. A lifter is the only thing that can come and go like that.
It's not uncommon for one or a few to get noisey especially during cold start up.
