    3400 triple disk would be killer with a 226/230 and some worked 243s milled some and add some 4.8 flattop pistons. Screamer for sure.

    How much of a screamer? Lol what if I just got a 4.8l and a 5.3 crank?

    Pick the heads you want to run and take them to the machine shop. Have them worked, flowed, and spec'd. Then you can talk to the machinist to spec you a cam that will complete the package and get your DCR where it needs to be. After that you can pick the rest of the parts.
