Looks to tight of bearing clearance to me. Did you do it with the crank and bearing dry or oiled?

I thought so, but then agine they have some assembly lube, this is my first assembly so i have some mistakes
I used the wrong one , i should use the green plastigauge, unfortunetly i dont have it!
orderd it from summit and they sent me the wrong size
guess i should count on my luck on this one!
btw rotating assembly is in ,pistons, rods ,crank spin smoothly , cam is also in, oil pump is in
will torque the connecting rod bolts tomorow, install lifters ,heads, oil pan , and take some pics ,
hopefully, well tray to drop the motor tomorow and turn the engine
wish me luck:thumbs:
I already have OBX headers on the 5.3 will reuse them of course
some pics from yestrday, pan is on oil pump is in heads are on
after we mounted the motor under the hood , and I was cleaning the intake manifold has a hole 2"x3"

Did you measure the clearance on the rods? Those mains are super tight..
