The only thing I was worried about was if my 918's could swing that lift.

Comp website says .625, I'm just not a fan of running internal parts on the edge. What is a good spring for that lift?

Avoid 918s. Way too many failures to be able to trust them

i realize youre asking justin on this, but figure id let ya know you would want a double spring, whoever you get the cam from should give you this info on what springs are reccomended reason being spring open/close pressures play a roll in keeping the valves from floating, i ran a cam just a tad bigger like 232/238 with less lift and floated the valve on a nitrous run at 7300 rpmsusing prc dual springs
its not so much how much lift the springs can with stand open and close, its more of how much pressure is needed to keep the valve from having harmonic issues and coil bind, this is where valve height come into play along with weight of the valve . id install some ls3 valves in those heads if it hadnt already been mentioned
thats not a bad cam though![]()

he'll be fine with some prs or patriots, i was mainly just throwing out there that for a serious minded person theres alot more goes into a setupp then just throwing some springs onnot many take there time in figuring out the perfect spring

I run PRCs. Mine saw 7300-7400 a couple of times on the 1-2 and 2-3 shift a few months ago!
