One guy came over to me and goes "DAmn dude whatd u do to that truck!", there was a trail of gear oil from the door of the service bay all the way over to the lift. lol

I'll check with beatertruck to see if he still has it, thanks!

the electronics may be a hair different, on hptuners there is a selections for what tranny you have, maybe the signals are just a hair different, who knows. Or maybe they just put that there for shits and giggles.

I would not be surprised if they are different. The builder I go thru mentioned updated electronics. I could build a tranny but it is much easier to just have him do it. He has a list of updates to adress problems that are found with transmissions and takes care of all of it for me. Plus I get a hell of a deal. I think I may have him build be a 65 before I head to SEMA. I also got a 1yr 12k warranty on a 700r4 that went behind a 427 chevy BB. That sucks about the rear and tranny going. Sorry to hear that dude.

well luckily when they pushed it into the shop, only the cover blew off and I didnt damage the case. They told me it was just waiting to happen, it was really loose in there. Allen is going to set me up with some shifting tables for the stall so I should be set for awhile after I get all this fixed.

There is a 4L70E now that they put in the Trailblazer SS. From what I understand it's a beefier 4L65E, which was never in an f-body btw.

Ya they are constantly updating the tranny. I wonder if the 6 speed auto is going to be worth a flip or if it will have to be highly modified.

I ended up not getting the billet servos and just reusing my vette servo.

As for the stall I ended up with a 2500 Hughes converter, it wasnt the 2800 Allen recommended and I was hoping for, but they can overnight it and it'll do alot better than stock. I hope this thing holds up alot better than the stock 4l60e pos.
