thats funny... when rebuilding a th350 they say to replace about 3 seperate parts (planetary gears etc) with parts from the 700r4 if you want a stronger trans! most people dont do the proper maintenance... or they tow in overdrive and then say the 700R4 is shit... theres nothing wrong with it.. it actually had one of if not the lowest first gear ratio of the gm transs when it was still made.. which is more desireable to many for drag racing.... the 4l60 to my understanding is basically yhe same trans but computer controlled...
