So, I'm going with 241's for my Iron 5.7 build and I'm planning on getting them milled to raise compression. My question is how much should I get them milled without worrying about PTV clearance. I'm going to use flat top LS1 pistons. My cam is a TR 220 .551 lift with 7.425 pushrods. I'm thinking that .028 will not cause a problem and should take my chamber down to just under 63 cc's (.007 mill=1cc?). If the compression calculator I was using is correct, this should bring my compression up to 10.6:1.
3.898 bore, 3.622 stroke, 62.67 cc chamber, flat top pistons, 0-.2 deck clearance, .045" head gasket.
Does all this sound like it will work together?
