I am also not referring to the extended mag hi-cap, i am talking about the guns capable of the double stack clips or the like.
Anyone know the answer to this?

You wont find a true 1911 style handgun that uses double stacked mags. If you want a high capicity .45 your best bet is a Glock. Plain and simple.

High-capacity .45 doesn't make sense to me unless Chuck Norris is after you.

The springfield XD .45acp has 13rd double stack mag. I have one and love it, carry it on my everywhere I go. Not a 1911 but still a really a really nice gun.

I know the technique. Last Wednesday I got two deer, took 5 shots. Only made two hits though. Learned a few things, they still move god damn fast in brush you can't see 15 yards in front of you, don't doze off on my stand, I'm pretty quick with a lever gun and 45/70 makes a damn mess out of a deer's skull.

Did I see a SW686P or am I that far behind?

I like the 45/70 but ammo....OMG. I know of a 1904 Colt 32/20 pistol (I'm a sucker for rifle rounds) that has a taste for pricy ammo too....

I'd rather just get me a model 29 and some sort of .223. I'll probably never shoot my 20ga 870 or my .38sp.

For my BDay, my pops got me a XDM .40 compact. Stainless slide with black lower. Not really my style but it shoots extremely smooth. Only put about 200 rnds through it so I gotta get some more Ammo. Next is my CC weapon. Just not sure what I want.
