    Fast forward to this summer

    I haven't done anything to the truck in months. It's just been too damn hot.

    I ditched the Vic Jr and NOS BigShot plate for a "stock" 78mm truck intake and Nitrous Outlet plate

    Excuse the dirtyness. I've neglected under the hood for quite some time. I live on a dirt road so it's hard for me to justify trying to keep it clean

    Also got some new wheels and new slicks. Ordered some Bogarts but they weren't going to be here in time and I wanted to go racing at the El Reno Small Town Weekend deal. So I come up with these. M/T 29.5x10.5s-15 on Cragar wagon wheels that I painted black. They're not very wide wheels but I love that they don't stick out anymore.


    A little bit of sad news After 40k miles and 100's, if not thousands of passes the rear end gave out last night on a motor pass. Did my burnout and things didn't sound good at all BUT, I went there to race. Backed up, pulled to the line, just literally rolled out when the arms dropped and as soon as the the guy I was racing started to go around me, I stuck it and BOOM! The ol' auburn pro series said "Not tonight, player" LOL

    I made it about 8 feet before the rear end said "I can't take this no mo!"

    New stuff goin in. I wanted a spool or mini spool atleast but the rearend guru for these trucks said nobody made one? Oh well. Went with a Detroit tru-trac and some more 4.56s



    Still haven't got to put these on but, also got some Smith Racecraft Assassin track bars and some qa1's for the front and rear.


    Took it to the track back in June to try and make the first real passes of the year and didn't have any luck at all. The 29.5x10.5 mickeys I got were only supposed to have 15passes on them, but we think those 15 passes got put on about 15 years ago lol. They weren't even close to being sticky even after doing two burnouts before the same pass.


    Loaded up next week to head to Sallisaw to race lamborado. The ol' black truck busted that ass lol

    Been collecting parts for the past couple weeks for my next project. Found a smokin deal on a 4L80 and I couldn't pass it up.




    (The racepak is a requirement for this kind of swap right? lol)

    Got the shifter mounted up this last weekend


    Hope to have it all finished up this weekend.

    Hahaha ya never know what's gonna happen with the truck. I think we're gonna ride this nitrous ls1 truck for a little while longer though. Its a never ending battle. You reach one goal and another one seems attainable with a little more work

    Got it all finished up this weekend

    The new trans is BADASS

    The new FTI converter is BADASS

    The Smith Racecraft bars are BADASS

    The racepak is BADASS!

    It was kind of a rough weekend getting everything done by myself but it all came together in the end.

    I couldn't have got it finished without the help of my buddy Tyler, my girlfriend(who actually had to help lift the 60e off the tranny jack and help lift the 80e on the jack) and my buddy Shawn for lettin me use his shop all weekend
