Okay already.The 8.5/8.625" rear has 30 teeth in the OBS trucks. No guarantee how many teeth your's has, though. I counted them 3 times just to be sure.

My dad was the original owner of my '86, and it came stock with 28-spline axles for an 8.5" 10-bolt rear. May want to break that bad boy down to see (if you're not the original owner).
