A few of us will be having a little install party. But yes, free labor... if you don't count the beer. I don't know if I'll do a write up or not. There are some very detailed write ups out there.

That guy may be making power, but for us trucks and what we use our stuff for, it's not worth it. We don't run eliminator classes, so it doesn't apply to us.
Anymore demand from those junky lifters and you're asking for it.
Those things fail all the time and it only takes a little bit more lift to hurt them, I've had that happen as well.

They're aren't many choices for us anyway with the DoD staying in place and when you compare a "normal" cam and the potential it will make... DoD not an option.

Ive wanted to see someone do a vvt swap into a 4.8 motor. It would be interesting to see what more could be pulled out of these little engines with valve events optimized. Dont kill on me on this either. I know all about the need for torque in these trucks, but I have no personal interest in 6.0s or 6.2s, my focus has always been the turbo 4.8. I bet with a turbo and vvt setup, these things would really scream. Might even make a few 6 liter+ guys take notice

6.2 doesn't have that stuff. I just put the price for Dod for people with 5.3s
