    Thanks! yea its already more than i could have imagined! I wish i would have gone turbo the first time and been done with it lol

    It would cost as much to swap everything on the truck for FI as it would to buy the kit lol

    i have less than 3k in everything...its cheaper to piece together your own kit. here is a break down of what i have invested in parts for the build- $600 for turbo, $100 for intercooler, $175 for cold side piping, $400 for injectors, $1000 for hot side parts, $100 for BOV, $125 for wastegate, $50 for 2 bar map, $100 for credits to upgrade to 2 bar operating system in pcm, $50 for oil feed and return lines, and then another $100 for misc fittings and odds n ends

    That's not bad at all. But I'd need gears, lower stall, cam, and drop compression a ton, I run square port heads so can't just toss 317s on it. Maybe a winter project.
    Slowest in Oklahoma...

    Why why and why? High stall is fun with boost, tall gears are ok (not great). Yeah cam might make a difference, but what compression are you?

    ha na man im still upgrading the one i got...gonna ditch the current cam i got and getting a cam spec'd from pat g. And the Godspeed wastegate has to go; thinkin about getting a tial. Pm me and i can help you put together a kit like mine if your interested
