    oh ya, 04 ssr had an aluminum 5.3L also.

    yeah youre right its off an 04 ssr it was in a hurricane and submerged in about 15 ft of water lol one of the sleeves has pitting but nothing a .030 bore cant fix now i have to find out what the max bore on these engines are.

    Pretty sure you they recomend you dont bore an aluminum block more than .010
