    I have probably around 10 sets of 4.8/5.3L heads SPM cast and sand cast. (Sand 862/ SPM 706) You are in AZ? Come and pick out a set Ill charge you.................Nutn....As I dont really port the 4.8/5.3L heads much any more. And no that does not mean every one gets a free set of heads. I just helping him out. Bring your old head and ill fix it for you.

    why not have a shop weld the hole up and retap it, i know if craig can repair the damage to my ls3 head i know this could be easily repaired.. ill post pics once my head has been repaired, a good aluminum welder that knows how to weld aluminm could fiix that for less than 50 bux easy

    I am just waiting to hear back from the guy above actually. Been trying to meet up and pick up a set I just havent had time, and when I do have time hes got something going.

    Yeah that has crossed my mind also. Only problem with that is that the head needs to be off. I will probably end up having them taken care of once I get the other set of heads....may even get them ported while Im at it.

    What happened to your head David?

    well as you know ( i think ) i went with LSA heads for the thicker deck, well livernois did the cnc which they used a ls3/l92 program, something happened and made the intake runners to thin, then after porting they became thinner well after install i had a smoking issue on driverside ( dual exhaust ) come to find out i had cracks up the runner to the valve guide , sooo livernois is cncing a new casting, then James at rage will port them like my last heads, which the one that got damaged is being repaired for a nother setup i have.. which is a l2 engine
    Simple: 408 on steroids!
