I have my crossovers for the fronts mounted inside the center console. If you have the full center console there is a lot of room under the front part.
Where is the room in the console? I looked under the cup holder part and there is a huge Bose amp. that goes almost all the way to the back. In front of the amp. all the way to the very front is some kind of enclosure for a Bose speaker, I asume it is a sub it has 2 2wire conections on it 1 on each side. Am I looking in the wrong place?

Ah, yeah mine is different. 2001 didn't have BOSE and mine has a Denali console which is slightly different.

i put them in the door too, and had a problem with rolling the window all the way down... took it apart again and moved them so they would clear. and the post about about the door being curved is correct for me, i had to compensate for the roll in the plastic of the door so they would stay put..
