Ran wires to the fuse block from the pump and one from the old coil lead. Still need to run ALDL, and run wires into the cab for the DBW. Jumped a wire from the fuse block to the fire wall power connector on the passengers side and turned the key on, pump primed and shut off! Grabbed the pedal and plugged it all in, and the foot feed works as well. Pretty close to being in business! Just a few more hours of work!!!

Have not updated for a while. Snowed in, so plenty of time for the web

Got the 94 up and running about 2 weeks ago. Hands down the best thing I could of done to the truck. The L33 fired off and runs great. I have put about 400 miles on it with no issues. Drove it in the snow some today, and its a beast! Towed the trailer this past saturday and has plenty of towing power.

Here are a few updated pics. Fire away if you have any questions on how I did something.

How did you tie your engine/pcm harness into your truck's harness? On mine I used the old male and female crimp connectors just to get it going, but I would really like to use some sort of weatherpack connector. I just haven't been able to find one with enough pins and I'm curious how everyone else is doing it. Thanks!

how did your transmission line up with the driveshafts? I'm about to do a LQ9 in a 1988 k1500 and need transmission advice.

    Hey Jake,

It all sure did, has been in the truck running same shafts and U joints in 2011. The 4L60E that is behind LQ9's will bolt up to the late model NP241 cases. Now I'm not to sure what would be behind your 88 Transmission. But parts for early/mid 90's trucks should be plentiful.

Just about to pull it all out and donate the L33/60E to my Tahoe. This old girl is going in for long term restoration.

    Plans are

    454 EFI
    4L80E
    Solid axle swap
    Remove Body lift
Clean Clean Clean.... and send off for paint at some point.
