    Slammed 96's Garage

Here are a few shots of my past and present toys.
My first car and still ongoing project, the 73 Monte

Put a new 350 and 200R4 into her this last summer

My old truck, 75 C3500, 1 ton with a 454...really miss this one

And here is my current project, 96 C1500 Silverado, the day I brought it home

Immediately picked up some goodies for it

    And winter shoes

Then a 4/6 drop and some other odds and ends

    What comes next?
a 6.0 pending a rebuild...next winter it should be going in

I really need to update this thing. So here goes:
Sold the 96 and picked up this beauty, 03 ECSB with a 4.8. When bought the truck already had LT's and an ORY. Naturally it needed more.
    Project Nightmare

First off, had to ditch the massive tip for something a bit more subtle. Along with this came a tune and some E-fans

Then came the cam; Comp 212 218 low lift 114lsa

I'm not sure. I'm debating between that, or doing a turbo build on the 4.8. If I go turbo, the 6.0 will more than likely go into another project.

I really like the sound of that 4.8 with the cam...how much does that cam run and do you need springs along with it?

Thanks! I picked it up from Thunder Racing with springs and pushrods for around $600. I think you can run it with stock springs, but I would recommend putting in some aftermarket ones. Here's a link to the kit: http://www.thunderracing.com/shop-by...ain/Camshafts/
