My truck was lowered when I got it, it's now sits up pretty high. Granted I wish it was HIGHER, but bigger DOES kill your gas mileage/speed. My goal for the truck is 13.99 and that's with a lot more motor work. Same setup on a lowered truck with stock tires would probably run mid 12's and get 10 more mpg.
But, (sorry lowered guys) lifted trucks turn more heads / pick up more girls
blown transmissions are about as useful as 97% of the guys on this forum
what do you want to use the truck for?
will it just be a street truck that occasionally has to tow or haul something or will you be wanting to ride it offroad and run thru mud holes?

I'd level it, 4wd's shouldn't be lowered IMO, plus the 900's look so good levelled with bigger tires.

Alright guys, made my decision... I'm going to level for now... I'll be eventually working in Maine where the winters are really bad, so I'm going to just level and be done with it. I'm going to be ordering the CCM 2.5" kit this week and I think I'm going to do the new Nitto Trail Grappler MT's.
The plan was to buy an 01 or 02 2wd RCSB for a project anyways, and I'd like to keep my warranty in check, so I'll just wait until I get the 2wd to go crazy.

good choice with the level kit, not as big fan of lowered 4wd trucks.
