I think the stock trans cooler is more a pre heater than cooler... Just my .02 i have 2 30k b&m super coolers on mine, with a deep pan,And no rad cooler/ heater, and havent ever seen it get over 150, and usally stays around 120.

I you don't hook up your a/c a friend of mine used his condenser as his tranny cooler. its for his bush truck but adds alot of oil volume and i don't think you would have cooling issues.
