    EGR Valve

What are the pros and cons to deleting it? Is it gonna screw up my computer?

On the 2001. Get rid of it.
Pros: less crap in the engine bay, cleaner intake, get rid of a restriction behind the TB.
Cons: need tune to eliminate codes.

If you're not having problems with it, why not leave it alone? Lower emissions and using less fuel.

is there really a performance gain?

The dealership and Thunder racing sell a block-off plate for the intake side to delete it. Just get some headers, a tune, and the block-off plate and your done.

I think it is....EGR puts hot air into your intake so i think deleting it would be a gain
